How to get to Pontal do Maceió

Pontal do Maceió (part of the Fortim town) is located 130 km from Fortaleza, Ceara State Capital, which is about 2 hours drive.

Driving to Fortim:

From Fortaleza, take the CE-040 highway and follow it up to 15km before Aracati.At that point, turn left and follow the sign direction Fortim.

Coming from Natal, follow the BR-406 up to Mossorró (RN). From there, take the BR-304 up to Aracati, wind round the town and, soon after crossing the bridge on the Jaguaribe river, take a right on the CE-040 towards Fortaleza . About 15km later, take right following the sign direction Fortim.

Arriving in the center of Fortim (church square), pick the direction Pontal do Maceió and follow the road for 6 km.

From Fortaleza airport

The Fortaleza Pinto Martins International Airport is about 10 km from the city center and 130 kilometers from Fortim. It receives daily flights from the national and international capitals.
